Product Description

Lift supports are pressurized cylinders that are used to support hoods, hatches and rear window glass in automotive applications. Lift supports are also used in many non-automotive applications. Each AVM lift support is custom engineered, and manufactured beyond industry standards to provide smoother operating, and long lasting performance. Unique to AVM is the self cleaning piston technology, patented multi lobe sealing system and patented temperature compensation module. Lift supports should be replaced in pairs to ensure safe, reliable support of your hood, hatch, or liftgate.

No more, "Honey hold the glass while I load our stuff." or using your head to keep the rear glass open while you access your stuff in the back. Took me a whole 3min to change them out....because I dropped the screwdriver and spent 1min searching for it under the truck....then another minute walking the old ones to the trash can and slamming them in their with a vengeance! Otherwise, only 1min worth of work. LOL!
