This case holds so many figures and it is very clean looking. The best part is it comes with a lock and 2 keys so you can make sure no one can access your items at any time when you’re not there. It was pretty simple to install once you get the hang of it.Quite a bit more expensive than that "other" glass cabinet. But I don't have a store around here and I am not driving 6 hours to pick one up. So it almost works out even cost in some weird way.Instructions were poorly printed, vague, and hard to understand. One of the L brackets was not threaded. Luckily I knew a guy and had to go get it tapped to finish putting together. Definitely get at least 1 other person to help assemble.Looks nice when it is done. Very sturdy and clean design. The lock area doesn't line up well with the plate you mount on top and causes it to hang over the edge a bit.Tiny instructional drawings with no clarifying language. I found it difficult even though I never have trouble assembling items from Ikea. The styrofoam must have gotten wet and adhered to the glass even taking a razor blade, I couldn't get the mashed styrofoam off the glass.The instructions were indeed confusing as mentioned in other reviews but you’ll figure it out. I had to come back to the customer’s photos here on Amazon to confirm how to assemble. I was successful at the end. The display looks very nice for my Scrooge McDuck Collection AND it can be used as a liquor cabinet due to the locking feature. This should meet all requirements for keeping it secure from minors. Just don’t leave the key in there!So you can display those collectibles and those Hennessy bottles!I definitely recommend. You can find cheaper options through IKEA but personally, this one is more worth it especially because it locks.Pretty good for the money.Sturdy and can be locked4 stars because instructions aren't very clear.I like the case. Might be a good idea to offer an access port for wiring for lighting.I thought it was easy to assemble, did it by myself. I am no handyman, but reasonably intelligent. Do keep the smaller screws separate. They look about the same size, but, they are not.The negative is for Amazon I received a damaged box and product. Some of the glass was shattered. I cannot imagine that the people who pulled the item and shipped, didn't know something was wrong. I should have never opened it. Broken glass went all over my floor, as well as bits of Styrofoam from the damage. Then I had to take it back to UPS, spend three bucks to print a label and carry this heavy thing by myself. Note that I blame management at Amazon. I know what it's like to be asked to do too much with too little for a greedy corporation.Pros:Price is reasonable.Packed to survive shipping.Everything was in the box (off to a good start)Appears to be sturdyLooks nice, did not notice any significant scratches or defects.Cons:-While not difficult, assembly is not as easy as it could be.-The hardware is labeled in the instructions but not on the bags.-Instructions are basically cave drawings, more so than a lot of other "some assembly required" items.-Film on glass would have been nice, if for nothing other than notating orientation of the panes (a minor complaint).-The styrofoam in the box crumbled badly. I will likely be picking it out of my teeth for the next month.Overall, this is a decent case for the money. It looks okay, but is slightly annoying to put together.That being said, I will likely purchase another one in the near future.Great quality product. Easier to assemble without instructions. Very heavy. The outer box and foam packaging was destroyed when received but glass and parts were fine. Will buy again.My stuff is locked in this showcase and the core of the lock is in my hand... Waiting on a response of what the manufacturer is willing to do. After 2 hours of assembly and 3 hours of displaying my items in the case.... The result is not great. I'm extremely frustrated at this point as eBay needs a return for refund and I am unable to get my belongings out of the case without smashing the glass putting myself in danger and the cost of breaking a Tiffany & Co product is way more of value then the case itself.....
