This stand is awesome! I got this on sale at about half the cost of what it is normally. I would still think it is worth the full price because it is sturdy and looks very high end contemporary. I have gotten several inquiries from guests as to where I purchased this item. This is not real wood but the dark rich color makes it impossible to notice. I currently have a 55" tv mounted on the wall above it and this is more than wide enough were i had to put a plant on each side for symmetry. So if it's width is a concern for larger TV's don't worry it is plenty wide!Setup was easy and took about 20 min total and I did it alone. The bottom shelves are really neat as the flip/fold up and slide inside the unit opposed to swing open doors. The silver accents really stand out against the dark wood feel and give a very elegant contemporary look even in person.I will say that I have a Yamaha AV receiver that fits a little bit too snugly in the upper middle shelf. There is only about 1/4" gap around the unit, and I am concerned if it will be enough ventilation for the receiver. There is the circular opening in the back which cables run through that I am hoping is exhausting the air.But at the price I paid for this which was a little over 50% of the list price I would definitely recommend this item to a friend.. and family member. This is a very nice piece of furniture, once assembled. It fits perfectly beneath my 65" Samsung Q70, leaving sufficient room between the top of the cabinet and the bottom of the TV for a nice soundbar and some music gear.Assembly is not as easy as it could be. This isn't "Ikea" easy. And the pieces are very heavy. Assembly will require some painter's tape to hold things together while you try to place screws or hang the doors. And the doors are hinged in a cutout groove, rather than an actual piece of channel material.Overall, this is a nice looking, functional piece of furniture and I'm very happy with it.Thankfully, I managed to purchase this product at a very competitive price ($105 delivered), which is why I have decided to give it 3 stars instead of 2. As a finished product, from a distance, this stand looks great! However, unfortunately, there were 4 issues encountered during assembly (1.5 hrs on my own).Use of a nail gun to manufacture it is evident. The pressure is too much for the chipboard and as a result, 2 nails have caused cracks in the veneer that are 1.5 inches long along the front of the unit. Quite noticeable if you look closely. The silvertone legs are lucky to have a full coat on them. On each one it looks as if it was a bad spray job from an automotive repairer. I found myself rotating them to have the "best coat" facing the outside. One of the glass doors was an extremely poor fit. It has to be forced shut, which undoubtedly will affect the veneer in a matter of time. I will use the glass doors sparingly. The stoppers for the sliding door are poor fitting and made of flimsy plastic. Unable to insert them through application of elbow grease, I used a mallet only to have 2 of them break due to the "force". Fortunately for me, it was one on each side that broke. If you can get a good deal on it and can deal with these sorts of issues as well as a step or 2 missing in the instructions, it isn't that bad. Just hope it doesn't snap when it comes time to move out of my apartment.Package was kind of beat up but as expected during transport and the carrier losing my package. However, I was surprised that the contents inside did not have any damage-no scratches nicks, or dents. Love the finish/color and it seems strong. The back I believe is press wood but other than that I love it. Fits my 55 inch tv well. I was still able to place decorative pieces in both sides. Had a professional set it up and he was done in 1 hr or less. No problems whatsoever with parts missing or not fitting as I read in other reviews. If there were any, he fixed it. Though the stand is lower than I expected, with the 55 inch tv, It’s actually a perfect height. Love this stand and worth the price.I have 3 gaming systems and a large TV that I needed to find a new stand for. The challenges being that my TV's legs are at the very out side edges, meaning the minimum size I could get was the size of the tv and that one of my systems is quite chunky. This standem fits all my gaming stuff well, though a bit more elbow grease was needed to get it put together than I originally thought. It was also a bit wiggly after it was put together and that annoyed me. But as soon as I put all my stuff on it it was solid. It looks very nice and I have been asked several times where I got it.I ordered 2 as I wanted them to run side by side. They look amazing and are really easily assembled. The only reason I do not give them 5 stars is because one of them was damaged. I had already assembled one and was 3/4 of the way through the second one so there was no going back and plus it is so heavy I did not feel like packing it all back and taking it to USPS. The damage is visible but I'm hoping that if I color it in, it won't be as noticeable! I would check the product before assembling but I would still recommend it.pros: It's 5 stars in terms of function and look. It was easy to assemble too.Cons: My biggest complaint is that the shipping box was clearly beaten up on the edges when delivered. Some of the pieces were damaged as a result. There were two pieces that had small chips of wood missing. It only affects the aesthetics of the TV stand. It functions perfectly fine still.Overall I'm happy with the purchase. The small nicks in the wood weren't enough to warrant the pain that would have been shipping it back for a new stand. It still looks great and I fully trust it with a 48" TV on it.Looks very good. Easy to setup with all parts labeled.
