They're cool it takes a while to get used to using a magnifying glass I guess you can't really hold it close to your eye you have to find the right distance. The light is cool when there's really low light in the room but if there's already light in the room it doesn't really hope to see the details in a macro subject. The light is just a gimmick but the things are good enough on their own.This is an awesome little package deal for the price. I ordered it for reading and threading needles. My hubby even liked them and said he can use the small one for grading lumber and other tasks for our home projects. I love the little pouches that come with each lens and as stated by other reviews, it even comes with a pouch long enough to hold the whole magnifying glass with a lens attached. It's so easy to use and really good quality. I have small hands, and it's not cumbersome or too heavy. I was afraid it would take a long time to be delivered, but it was delivered when expected and in great shape. I am very pleased, and I would recommend this item.I have Macular Din both eyes, one coming on suddenly, so these have been a great help to see with. I sort of wish I had gotten a rectangular shaped one for reading so I wouldn’t have to move it so much, but these are fine. The light is a great help.. as a suggestion on the pouch, Iit would be nice to have a Velcro loop to hang the magnifier up, or a lanyard through the handle. Magnifier is very useful.Product was as described. It was packaged very well, secure and well protected. It is nice to have the extra storage bags to keep the interchangeable magnifiers from scratching against each other. This is the second one I purchased this one for myself, the first was a gift for an antique dealer who uses it for his business and is also very satisfied. The illumination feature is a helpful feature. The price is more than fair for the quality of the product.Bought this set last year. It works great to check for ticks. The 5x size works great for a closer look at anything suspicious and the 16x size has been very helpful in identifying which type of tick. The light definitely helps to give a better view. Set of three interchangeable magnifiers seem well made and sturdy. 3 AAA batteries illuminates well and lights are in a good position. Small "click" buttons to change magnifiers may be difficult for weak, aged, elderly hands. This remains to be determined.Shipped well and I am satisfied with the cost to value.It was not cheap to me, but WOW... it's a solid well done product, despite I see one tiny bit of dust in between surface of one zoom lens...
