I needed to replace my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 passenger side mirror. I read reviews on several different aftermarket brands and many people seemed to have either vibration problems, or the glass not being flat, causing severe distortion. I didn't want to take a chance and risk it not being perfect, so I decided to spend a few extra bucks and got this OEM mirror. I'm glad I did because this was a perfect replacement. Perfect fit, no vibration, and no distortion. This was also the only mirror that had the model number in small print on the bottom of the glass, just like both of my original mirrors have.It comes with directions, although they seem to make the install more confusing than it really is, and the pictures are very small and unclear. You'll be better off just looking at how the back of the new mirror is set up to figure out how to remove the old one, then repeat the process to install the new one. Here are some simple steps to replace the passenger side mirror:1. Use the power mirror controls to tilt the old glass all the way in towards the truck so there's a gap on the outside between the old mirror backing and the mirror housing.2. Reach in with one finger, push and hold the little tab in, pushing it against the back of the glass. While holding it, at the same time you'll need to firmly push the mirror and backing in towards the truck. It will take a lot of force, bur push it until you feel it shift slightly and hear a pop. Then just pull the mirror forward and out.3. Position the new mirror so all the plastic tabs and vibration shims are lined up in their correct slots, then push it firmly into the housing, and slide it away from the truck until you hear it snap into place.
