I am a klutz! I had to have my phone fixed because the screen shattered not once, but TWICE within about a month's time...and I couldn't even blame it on the kids! I had this phone for about 18 months and had dropped it several times and the screen did not break. Then, I dropped the phone in the parking lot at work (first shatter). About 4 weeks later, as luck would have it, I dropped it on the floor inside the building at work (second shatter). Each time, it cost me around $250 for the repair! Ouch! To prevent future mishaps, I thought I would try this. So far, so good! Also, I haven't dropped my phone since the second shatter. Ok. This mama has learned her lesson. If the screen shattering keeps up, we won't be able to have nice things like expensive cell phones any longer!
