First off and to be fair, I believe I did get a defective one. Which seems like a strange thing to get that would be defective. But, still, we reordered to attempt to give it one more fair shake but this is what we experienced so far.So the instructions are alright. It’s fairly easy to figure out how it should work and easily be applied. We cleaned the phone got everything prepped for application and then the trouble begin. First step is to remove the film to expose the adhesive side of the screen protector which is fitted in this plastic fitting thing which is supposed to streamline application. Well, as I was trying to remove the top film lay (which is step one) it pulled the screen protector out of the fitted plastic application device. I tried to realign the screen protector as best I could to get a clean application- thought I had it perfectly in place. So I went to place the plastic application thing on our iPhone 13 mini and on first attempt the screen protector did not adhere to the phone. So I tried again since the screen protector was still in the plastic application thing. Then on second attempt the screen protector did come out of the plastic application frame but was terribly aligned. Like not even entirely on the iPhone. So I tried to adjust it to fit the phone. Once I had it in place I tried to press the screen protector to my phone to make it adhere and it simply wouldn’t adhere. I picked up my phone and the screen protector fell right off. THEN I picked up the screen protector and discovered that the screen protector had no adhesive to it what so ever. So I examined the application frame, the screen protector and the two pieces of protective film and couldn’t figure out what happened. I inspected the screen protect and felt like it was some form of cheap thin flimsy plastic. Trying to pick the screen protector up from the table I had to bend it back a little to slip my nail under it to pick it up and the thing shatter. Well more like EXPLODED! Glass flung everywhere. Covered the table and the floor. It even shattered and flung into the skin on my hand. the screen protector is not like a tempered glass but rather just is crazy thin sheet of glass that will shatter and become hazardous! I am lucky my 3 year had walked away when he did or I would’ve had to pick pieces of glass out of him like I had to do for both my husbands hands and my own!I can’t believe this product exists. At this point it feels like a hazard! I can only imagine how dangerous it would be to have on a phone and when/if it shattered you will get glass in your fingers simply from trying to remove it! So that give I would not recommend this product! There’s better screen protectors out there and to be frank, I am apprehensive of even trying the second replacement one! Just feels like an unnecessary risk at this point. I don’t have to have to clean up all that glass again!
