Ive been keeping fish for 20 years. Ive used all the cleaning tools and all the magnets you can think of. I have an entire storage bin full of useless magnets ive tried and could not pass the test for what i need. But THIS ONE! This is by far one of the best cleaning magnets I've bought. My glass is 1/2 and also 3/4in thick on most of my tanks. Could not find a magnet with the power to hold thru that thick of glass. This one does it with ease and you really have to prey on it to get it to come off its so powerful. Will be sticking with this brand for sure! I would rate it more then 5 stars I could in all categories. Also love that it is a floating magnet and no more digging the magnet off the bottom of the tank every time it come unattached while cleaning, Even though this one does not come un attached due to how powerful the magnet is if it were to it floats right back up! Come with 2 scraper attachments as well. One being plastic that i enjoy using myself seems to get the job done no problem! but even includes a razor blade attachment for that hard to get off calcium build up! used the blade on one of my 10gal fry tanks since i always leave the water about 3/4 of that way full and calcium builds up where the water line is. It cut through and scraped that stuff right off with one swipe it was like it was just peeling it back just a awesome product all together and very pleased with its performance!
